Read between the lines,
though the spot maybe small.
Look pass the skipped meals,
though there is so many.
Ignore my lies,
they are only their to protect you.
listen closely,
you may finally hear my screams.
keep an eye on me,
one day you'll see.
See the cuts that weren't there yesterday.
Hear the screams I've been yelling for years.
Finally realize I'm not speaking the truth.
Just pay attention a little,
you'll figure it all out.
Know why I do this awful thing.
Know why I can't trust anyone.
One day you'll learn,
nothing is really "okay".
You claim to be there,
though you never truly are.
never there long enough to see it,
to see all my issues.
